Centre for Social Change (CSC) is seeking a talented and dedicated mind who work as a multimedia consultant to join our dynamic team based in Kathmandu. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in multimedia content creation, digital marketing, and illustration. This role is pivotal in promoting social cohesion and peacebuilding in society, highlighting the organization’s projects, and creating impactful visual content both for projects and organization.
DETAILS / REQUIREMENTS:
Position Title: Multimedia Consultant
Type of Appointment: Consultant, (Full Time/Part Time)
Estimated Start Date: August 01, 2024
Location: Centre for Social Change, Kathmandu Office
Core Responsibilities under the contract:
1. Graphic Design and (60%):
- Design graphics and layouts for reports, publications, infographics, factsheets, policy papers, presentations, and web banners for both digital and print mediums.
- Work for branding and consistency in all the graphic and layout presentations.
2. Photo/ Visual Content Development (20%):
- Conceptualize, script, shoot and edit videos for project activities documentation.
- Produce impact videos, posters, and photobooks for various projects.
- Event coverage such as workshops, training sessions, national events by creating visual materials that enhance the overall presentation and engagement of the event.
3. Digital and Social Media Management (20%):
- Handle and update the organization’s website with engaging written content both for website and social medias.
- Manage email-based marketing campaigns.
- Oversee social media accounts and create compelling narratives that highlight project and organizations achievements and milestones, ensuring that all contents are culturally sensitive and tailored to the target audience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Multimedia Technologies or related field.
- Proven experience of at least 1-2 years in multimedia content creation, preferably in development sector.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition).
- Strong skills in graphic design software (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with photography and cinematography.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media management.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory and layout techiques required for projects.
- Strong research and storytelling skills.
Note:
This position may include field visits to project locations for on-site video recordings and other research purpose.
