The South Asian Regional Institute on the Study and Practice of Strategic Nonviolent Action offers practitioners and scholars alike a great opportunity to learn about, and reflect on, ways to achieve social change nonviolently. This institute is designed for practitioners, scholars, teachers, professionals, and other future peace builders across the South Asia. Participants will learn during sessions from experts, case studies, and field trips, the power of non-violent actions to bring positive change of extant social injustices and power imbalances. This institute is jointly organized by Center for Social Change, Department of Conflict, Peace and Development Studies at Tribhuvan University and International Center on Nonviolent Conflict. This institute will take place in Nepal on March, 2018.
