About Peace & Social Cohesion Blog Series
Centre for Social Change (CSC) is excited to unveil the ‘Peace & Social Cohesion Blog Series’- a common platform to share knowledge, insights, experiences and struggles in areas of peacebuilding, justices, inclusion and social cohesion of Nepal. In pursuit of this endeavor, CSC invites interested individuals from diverse background including peacebuilders, justice leaders, academicians, journalist, scholar, university students, youth, peace practitioner, researcher, government officials and other interested individuals to submit their blog for this meaningful discourse and platform.
Suggested themes for blog articles
This blog series cover numerous areas and issues which includes:
- Nepal’s peacebuilding journey and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)
- Local/global perspective on peace, justice, inclusion and cohesive society
- Diversity, multiculturalism, inclusivity and social cohesion
- Transitional justice, reconciliation and federalism
- Conflict resolution mechanisms, constitutional provisions and access to justice
- Role of state/institutions in peacebuilding and social cohesion process
- Role of educational institutions in peacebuilding and social cohesion process
- Impact of digital space on societal peace and social cohesion
- Case studies/stories of aftermath of societal conflict experiences and struggles of peacebuilders and frontline leaders
- Case stories of community/local initiatives/actions in peacebuilding, justice and social cohesion
- Role of CSOs, media, community organizations, ethnic/religious organizations, clubs in peacebuilding and social cohesion process

Submission deadlines are flexible. However, we consider them receiving from this 1st April to 30th November 2024. Selected blog will be published every month on the CSC’s official website.Rules & conditions for blog call
- Blog must be submitted with short bio (up to 100 words) with recent passport size photo.
- Submissions must fulfill the process and requirements declared in the open call.
- CSC reserves the right to select and publish submissions that best meet the declared requirements.
- For the account of uniformity and quality assurance, CSC will follow its communication and quality guidelines.
- Beside acknowledgement to the writer, CSC will also provide NPR .6000 as an encouragement for the published blog (government tax will be deducted on it)
- The blogs will be shared from the original platform to every other media platform like websites, Facebook, Twitter etc.
