Ms. Samiksha Neupane
Research Officer

Samiksha Neupane is currently working as Research Officer at Centre for Social Change. She has her more than 5 years of work experience in the field of youth and professional development. She was also a NORHED Scholar and studied at University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka as an exchange student during the course of her MA study. She was also awarded a research fellowship to conduct research on community mediation by The Asia Foundation. She has represented Nepal in an international training in dialogue and mediation organized by Uppsala University, Sweden in 2018. She is currently involved on two research projects, one focuses on nonviolence and another on Gender, War Trauma, and Peace building. Her research interest is in peacebuilding and community mediation. She holds her Master’s degree in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies from Tribhuwan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Development studies from Kathmandu University.


Ms. Prashamsha Simkhada
Research associate

Prashamsha Simkhada is currently working as Research Associate at Center for Social Change. At CSC she is involved in research work in foreign labor migration issues. She is also part of “Migration Watch” project at CSC. She has extensively worked with youth as core team member of ASER-Nepal, a citizen led assessment of literacy and numeracy of children aged 6-18 years old. She also worked as visiting research associate at ASER-Center, India for three months. She is interested in youth, foreign labor migration and governance. She holds her Master’s degree in Conflict, Peace and Development Studies from Tribhuvan University.

Ms. Reshma Basnete
Research Associate

Ms. Reshma Basnet is currently working as a Research Associate at Centre for Social Change under the project “Migration Watch”. She has worked as a volunteer in different organizations related with issues of mental health, child sexual abuse and human trafficking for three years. She has been involved in various research related to gender and women trauma and non-violence movement. Her area of interest are gender related issues and migration governance. She is currently pursuing Masters in Gender Studies at Tribhuvan University.

Mr. Saurav Raj Panta
Research associate

Saurav Raj Pant is currently working in position of Research Associate at Center for Social Change. He is mainly responsible to perform desk research and data screening for the various ongoing research at CSC. He writes op-ed articles on International Relations and global political issues on a regular basis and has written for ‘The Kathmandu Post’ (Nepal’s leading English daily), Georgia Today & Qatar based daily-The Peninsula. In addition he has written blog articles for Eco Sprinter – a Brussels based FYEG online magazine and the International Politics Journal of the European Student Forum. He has a MA in Political Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

Ms. Sarita Barma
Research Associate

Sarita Barma is a Research Associate at Centre for Social Change.  Ms. Barma has an experience of internship at Save Our Soul (SOS) and Disabled Newlife Centre (DNC). Currently, she has been engaged in 2 different projects: Media monitoring and Multi-stakeholders hydropower disputes. Her area of interest is natural resource management.  She holds her Master’s degree in Development Studies from Purbanchal University and Bachelor’s degree in Social work from Tribhuvan University.
